Cost Estimating

Cost estimates can be valuable tools in the planning or phasing of projects. As part of our agreements for master plans, we offer an option to provide an “Order of Magnitude Opinion of Probable Construction Costs.” While the goal of a master plan is to create a design that is perfectly suited to a homeowner’s desires and lifestyle, having an idea of the costs associated with that vision allows homeowners to make financial decisions to best suit their situation. This may result in phasing the construction or installation over time, and/or changing materials.

Much like the decisions involved in renovating a home, one may opt to do the interior first, one room at a time or choose less expensive cabinets to allow for granite countertops. Having a good idea of the costs of each component assists with those decisions before commissioning construction documents.
