Sevierville Events Center

The Sevierville Events Center is an exhibition facility designed by Bullock Smith & Partners. Overlooking Eagle’s Landing Golf Course, it shares a courtyard with the Wilderness Hotel. The Penland Studio assisted with site design and documentation, including fountains and landscaping providing a flavor of the Great Smoky Mountains.

AAA of East Tennessee

Located in the heart of Downtown Knoxville, AAA elected to renovate and expand their 1960s era brick building with a modern aesthetic. A tower was incorporated into the entry vestibule to provide visibility from the adjacent elevated Interstate 40. Architect: McCarty Holsaple McCarty.

Hallsdale Powell Utility District Administration Building

When the Hallsdale Powell Utility District replaced their administration building, they decided to practice what they preach in regard to environmental sustainability. Among other features, the facility includes an extensive green roof, permeable paving, bioswales, and a cistern to feed a recirculating stream. Architect: McCarty Holsaple McCarty
